I have read several books by BB Hamel and her work gets better with each one! Carter is a strong alpha male who knows exactly what he wants and he wants his stepdaughter, Emily. They both know their attraction is wrong even though Carter's marriage to Emily's mom is a sham. There's a lot of twists and turns in the plot and I really loved the ending, it was unexpected and different than the average happy ending. This is a hot "forbidden" romance with a down right dirty domineering man. Told from dual POVs with a happy ending. I received, read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
