Landish and Winters wrote a such a perfect D/s ROMANCE! I STRESS romance because it was definitely a love story between these two obviously broken people. Lucian was so domineering and possessive but at the same time, incredibly giving and in some ways sweet. The horrible circumstances of Dahlia's past mold her present submissive tendencies. Lucian is exactly what she needs to help her even though they both have doubts and fears. This is definitely a DARK romance with some disturbing themes. Told from dual POVs with a happy ending. I received, read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
