I'm reviewing for Glenna Maynard's THE ROOMMATE PACT. Fiona and Devlyn are good friends who are about to become roommates and if sexy policeman Devlyn has his way, much more! Fiona admits she's a mess so maybe living with Devlyn is just what she needs to get her life back on track. Unfortunately, this ends in a CLIFFHANGER so we'll have to wait until 2017 for their hopefully happy ending! Told from dual POVs. I received, read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this one story BUT I did purchase the book. I wanted to support this great cause because I have several police officers in my own family. This is an awesome collection of short stories from SO many great authors! Perfect for a couple of afternoon reads.

This is a wonderfully smutty book in the best way possible! Ethan, an over the top alpha, is charged to find his best friend's long lost daughter. When he finally locates sweet Delilah, Ethan instantly knows that he will possess and keep her for his own. This older man/younger woman story is off the charts naughty! It's a pretty quick read and ends a little after the halfway mark where another story begins. I read it in my KU but decided to buy it so that I can reread it later! Standalone told from dual POVs with a happy ending.

This is the second in the Fatal Dreams series and I want to BEG Ms. Roads to PLEASE write more! "Hunt The Dawn" skirts the edge of the paranormal realm. There are no shapesifters, witches or vampires but Lathan's and Evanee's special abilities left me gasping, "Oh my God!" half the time and speechless the other half! The tribulations that these two go through for each other is both inspiring and shocking. There really is not enough good things I can say about this book...it's thrilling, fascinating, hopeful and beautiful. Although it is a dark story, I was delighted with their happy ending.
